COMPARISON

A PowerChute alternative for mixed UPS fleets.

APC PowerChute is built to manage APC UPS systems, and it does. MayaUPS is for Canadian teams whose racks also hold Eaton, Vertiv/Liebert, XPC, Tripp Lite, Delta, CyberPower or supported RFC 1628 equipment, and who want all of it in one local bilingual view.

Choose around the whole fleet

PowerChute Serial Shutdown and PowerChute Network Shutdown serve APC UPS products through product-specific connections. MayaUPS reads SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RFC 1628 and manufacturer profiles, so supported equipment from several UPS brands lands in one place.

One daily operating view

Alarm states, histories, reports and battery records, normalized in one English and French Canadian interface. A mixed site stops reconciling a separate console for each of its supported APC, Eaton, Vertiv/Liebert, XPC, Tripp Lite, Delta and CyberPower units.

Battery and maintenance planning

MayaUPS records battery installation and maintenance dates, estimates service life and reminds you about 30 days before a due date. Replacement and budget views cover the whole fleet, whatever the brand.

Controlled shutdown

Review the policy and run it while it cannot switch anything off. Once armed, configured systems use SNMP-SET for the UPS and an authenticated host agent for orderly host shutdown.

When to choose MayaUPS

Choose MayaUPS when your site runs several supported UPS brands, your team works in English and French, and you want battery planning and tested shutdown in one local application. If the environment is APC-only or leans on a specific APC virtualization integration, check the current PowerChute edition.
