Run Xtreme Power Conversion (XPC) equipment? MayaUPS watches it over SNMP. RFC 1628 covers the readings every brand shares, and a manufacturer profile adds detail when the network card offers it. What you get depends on the UPS, the card and the firmware.
MayaUPS reads supported Xtreme Power Conversion UPS equipment through the standard RFC 1628 data every brand shares, plus an SNMP profile built specifically for XPC network cards. Supported direct serial connections go through the optional agent.
Depending on the unit and its network card, you can read status, battery charge, runtime, load, voltage, temperature and alarm conditions in plain language.
What you can read depends on the UPS model, the network card and its firmware, so confirm your exact combination first, especially before counting on manufacturer-specific readings or shutdown commands.
Review the shutdown policy, then run it while it cannot switch anything off. Once you are satisfied, configured systems can use SNMP-SET for the UPS and an authenticated host agent to shut Windows or Linux servers down in order.

It runs on your own network, and monitoring and shutdown never depend on anything outside it. There is also an optional Cloud portal, in limited beta, that puts several sites on one screen: read-only, hosted in Quebec, and off until you switch it on. Your sites behave the same whether you use it or not.
