Install on Windows
MayaUPS runs as a Windows service. The web interface and SQLite database come with it; there is nothing else to install.

Install on Linux
On Linux, MayaUPS runs under systemd or in Docker. The optional host agent handles ordered server shutdown.
First sign-in
The administrator password is shown once, and you change it right away. Viewer, operator and administrator roles keep read-only access, daily operation and configuration changes separate. Put backups and storage checks into your site operating procedure from the start.
Try the demonstration data
Want to see it before you connect anything? Demo mode starts with a full simulated fleet: 12 UPS units across 3 sites, 7 days of history, alarms and reports. Explore the fleet view, the alarm wording, battery planning, service records and budgets without touching a live UPS.
Add devices
Import a CSV from the template, test each connection, or run a network search. The search reads only, stays inside the local /24 you pick, and never starts on its own.
Connect a UPS without a network card
Install the optional MayaUPS agent on a Windows or Linux computer and pick a supported USB-HID or Megatec/Q1 serial connection. Confirm the cable and the model while you commission it.
Test shutdown before enabling it
Start in watch-only mode. Run the full sequence without sending a single shutdown command, confirm the trigger and the order of targets, then arm it. Configured systems use SNMP-SET for the UPS and an authenticated host agent for the servers.

How much does MayaUPS cost?
Tell us how many UPS units you run and where they are. You get a written proposal for your fleet, not a rate card that fits nobody.
Does MayaUPS run in the cloud?
It runs on your own network, and monitoring and shutdown never depend on anything outside it. There is also an optional Cloud portal, in limited beta, that puts several sites on one screen: read-only, hosted in Quebec, and off until you switch it on. Your sites behave the same whether you use it or not.
Which operating systems are supported?
Windows and Linux, including Docker on Linux. The optional agent that shuts your servers down in order runs on Windows and Linux too.
